A Warrior's Promise

She hold Collin earpiece to remind her of her brothers bravery and kindness.

Some time ago, Collin and Cici were skilled warriors and were renowned all around. Them travel around working for hire. One night while protecting a wealthy traveler, they were almost the city when they were ambushed by thieves. Tell his sister to grab the client and run to safety. Collin stayed and held off the gang to thieves. She ran to into the city got the client to his destination. She went back to the city gate and waited for Collin to come. Soon the sun began to break the horizen, and Cici began to worry and ran back to where Collin was fighting. She found bodies all over the place. She spotted Collin sitting next to tree covered with blood and barely breathing. Collin looks up and smiles to see her face. With his last breath, he gives her his earing and says

"I can pass on now knowing that you are safe" and closes his eyes one last time.

With tears running down her cheek, Cici hugs here brother on last time. She buries him in a remote place so he can rest in peace, with his sword as the maker. Every year on the night of the fight, she returns to the site and wears puts on the earring just as her brother did.
